I studied law, complemented by the business curriculum for lawyers as an additional module. I worked on major transactions at Baker McKenzie, sat on the founder's side of my own financing round, and advised between capital and projects. That is why I know what investors really scrutinise: the structure, the assumptions, the people behind them.

What follows from it

My projects are built from day one to withstand institutional scrutiny: clean documentation, robust calculations, clear governance. Not because it is demanded, but because I would demand it myself.

Takeover of a leading Swiss provider of mezzanine capital for the German real estate market: purchase price in the mid three-digit million range, financed through new shares, debt and a Luxembourg securitisation structure. A first conversation, one on one. I disclose what I am working on, you disclose what you are looking for. If it does not fit, I will be the first to say so. Time is the scarcest asset on both sides.

A complete basis for decision-making: calculations, structure, collateral, exit scenarios. At the level I know from large-firm transactions and banking proceedings.

Closing & Execution

Clear responsibilities, clear milestones, clear governance. I stand in the project operationally myself, not as an intermediary, but as an executor with skin in the game.

What investors
ask me.

The questions that come up most often in first conversations, answered directly, without detours. Everything else we clarify in person.

From what volume do you work with capital partners?

It depends on the project: for real estate projects typically from mid six-figure amounts, for ventures also below that. More decisive than the volume is the fit: time horizon, risk profile and whether we speak the same language.

Do you invest in your own projects?

Yes, as a matter of principle. I do not believe in structures where the initiator carries no risk of his own. Skin in the game is not a sales argument for me, it is a core principle. The specific arrangement is discussed per project.

Do you only work in Germany?

No. My base is Frankfurt am Main, my radius is global. I am location-independent and active wherever the best projects and the right partners are, in the DACH region as well as internationally.

How transparent is the reporting?

Regular, written and unvarnished, including the points that are not going to plan. I have personally communicated and repaired a failed financing round. That experience shapes how I report today: early, honestly, with a proposed solution.

Do you also work with first-time investors?

Yes, provided expectations are realistic. In the first conversation, I take the time to explain the structure and the risks in full. Anyone who invests should understand what they are investing in. For me that is a prerequisite, not a courtesy.

Is this site part of DD Partners?

No. DD Partners is one of my companies, this site is my personal platform. This is also where participations, real estate projects and new ventures beyond the advisory business take shape. Those who work with me work with me, not with a brand.
